Qual a melhor forma de comemorar o Dia Mundial da Fotografia que se celebrou no passado Domingo? Fotografando em Lisboa com a fantástica companhia dos Lisbon Photo Walkers. Foi uma boa oportunidade para rever velhos amigos e para conhecer caras novas. Foi muito bom sair da pele de fotógrafo de casamentos e passar algumas horas a fazer fotografia de rua, algo que planeio fazer mais vezes. É uma excelente forma de sair da zona de conforto, de experimentar novas ideias e de rever alguns conceitos básicos de composição. Só senti o cansaço quando cheguei a casa, mas o entusiasmo para descarregar as imagens para o computador e para as ver era tão grande, que não terminei enquanto não seleccionei e editei todas as fotografias. Aqui ficam algumas imagens.

What´s the best way to celebrate the World Photography Day? Photographing in Lisbon with the amazing company of the Lisbon Photo Walkers. It was a good opportunity to see some old friends and to meet new ones. It was really good to get out of the skin of a wedding photographer and spend some hours only doing street photography, something that I plan to do more often. It was a great way to get out of my comfort zone, to try new ideas and to review some basic concepts of composition. Only felt how tired I was when I got home, but the enthusiasm to download the images to the computer and view them was so big, that I didn’t rest until I’ve selected and edited all the photos. What’s a photo walk in Lisbon without the traditional Ginjinha (liqueur made by infusing ginja berries in alcohol and adding sugar together)?

À tarde, ainda fomos ao Parque das Nações para o Vasco experimentar longas exposições. Só vos digo que com todo o calor que se fez sentir no Domingo, soube mesmo bem molhar os pés no Rio Tejo. Fotografia tirada e cedida pelo Miguel Garcia.
